While The Law Office of Thomas C. Wilmer, P.C.was established in 1990, practicing law has been part of the Wilmer family for over 80 years. It all started with Mark Wilmer — my grandfather — who began serving his community as an attorney back in 1931. Next came Mark's son and my father, Charles, who primarily served the Scottsdale area. By the time I was born in Tucson, Wilmer was a known and trusted name for providing dedicated, honest legal services throughout Arizona. Needless to say, I found mentors in both my father and grandfather and knew early on that law was the career path I wanted to venture down, as well.
By being an apprentice of law my whole life, I have the unique advantage of understanding things that can make or break a client's experience with an attorney. Ideas such as which practices are best, how to serve clients respectfully and with dignity, and what true ethics look like are all part of my core value system.
Part of my belief in serving clients as effectively as possible includes ensuring I always provide the one-on-one care they need. Because personal injury and work-related injuries make up the bulk of my practice, I stress the importance of allowing me to take on the hard work and heavy lifting. That way, the people I serve can focus on making a full recovery.
The Law Offices of Thomas C. Wilmer, P.C. is one of the very few firms that can handle the complexity of any claim that is both work-related and caused by someone outside of the employment setting. These types of circumstances can cause confusion and bring on a plethora of questions. That's why I aim to be the type of practitioner who sets clear and accurate communication high on my list of priorities. I stand firm on the idea that clients should always communicate directly with their attorney instead of with a paralegal.
When other attorneys have turned you away, I’ll give your case another look and see what we can do. I’ve helped many people in this situation and I’d like to help you, too.
